Happy New Year everyone! The holidays, as always, have been a bit of a schedule-disruptor, but it’s solidly 2019 now and we are back on track.

In the better late than never category, we have this State of Melee episode from FinalBossTV featuring Grayhound representing the rogue point of view. Grayhound authors the Assassination and Outlaw rogue guides on Icy Veins, check them out. If you are a raider, FinalBossTV is the show for you. Bay does a wonderful job interviewing a variety of guests mostly on raid topics. This show is a true quality production.

They say that no news is good news, but as fans of The Flash know, “…good news is good news. No news is miscommunication.” So let’s communicate.

We don’t usually talk about PvP but today we are making an exception and spotlighting Dalaran Gaming.

Check out these rogue duels – there is one for everyone:

And if you are looking to get started in Rogue PvP he has a guide – brush off that Outlaw spec:

Dalaran isn’t only about PvP. He also has PvE boss and M+ guides, news and speculation, and general content pieces as well as previews of upcoming content, and he streams. Check him out:

Seriously, Rogues, give this fellow a follow.

Pilgrims Bounty is happening in the World of Warcraft and that means it’s open season on Rogues. Time to flip other classes the bird and dodge the Turkey Blaster.

Infexious has been checking out the PTR and has a report on our upcoming trinkets. Also, check out his fancy new rig. Rig envy:

We’ve mentioned previously that Mystler has taken over the Rogue Class Guides on Wowhead; all three guides are now complete. They give you pretty much everything that you need to know for Rogue PvE and include some useful new sections eg. How to Improve, Raid Guides, and M+ Guides.

But that’s not all! Sensus is writing the Assassination Rogue PvP guide.

And Tule has the Subtlety PvP guide:

We are lucky to have such amazing talent writing these guides for us.

And speaking of amazing talent, don’t forget the Ravenholdt spec guides by wEak and Loktark:

BlizzCon has come and gone. The news for us was…well, energy regeneration and putting combo points back on the target are things that the WoW Classic team are working on. Many of us were there and it was fantastic to meet so many rogues. That’s pretty much it. There were plenty of good things…just nothing rogue specific.

Now post-BlizzCon game news. Um…well…there isn’t any. A few good things have been announced either at or since BlizzCon but nothing rogue. So much for us being center of the universe.

Things to check out anyway:

  • New cinematics: Lost Honor which continues the story of Saurfang, and the introduction to the new Warfront, Terror of Darkshore. I cannot gush about these enough. The cinematic and narrative teams at Blizzard have outdone themselves. Check them out on the World of Warcraft website.
  • New old audio books: Warcraft history buffs rejoice, Lord of the Clans and Rise of the Horde are now available at Audible, and Arthas is on the way. Whether you are new to Warcraft lore, or need to brush up, these are really special unabridged recordings read by author, Christie Golden. Let Christie tell you a story as you go about your business.
  • New old game: Warcraft III: Reforged will give us a new opportunity to explore our origins with a reimagined version of the classic RTS. As is their wont, Blizzard is going all out, updating and modernizing graphics, sound, features and more. Preorder this!

Community news: Infexious comes to the rescue of an almost rogue-free week with an Assassination M+ guide:

This last week, Reddit’s /r/wow moderators put out a call for class feedback for their class feedback megathreads. Our Reddit Rogue Feedback Megathread was compiled by some of our top rogue minds: Aethys, Fuu, Kojiyama, Loktark, Mystler, Rosvall, Teyka, and wEak. Please read, comment, and upvote your thoughts:

For ease of access, we also released it to the Ravenholdt website. Feel free to comment there too!

Also this week, we have a special treat for Subtlety rogues. One of our lovely Discord mods, Liavre, noticed that there are a whole lotta questions in #subtlety about Mythic Zul. He put together a guide to answer all of your questions in one place. Check it out:
